Ambrook, a Series A fintech startup backed by Thrive Capital and others, is seeking a Support Lead to build and own the customer support function for their financial infrastructure platform serving American family-run businesses. The role involves leading a technically-minded support team, designing AI-powered support systems that resolve 65%+ of conversations, and creating a feedback loop that turns customer interactions into product improvements—sitting at the intersection of customer experience, product, and engineering. You'll need proven experience building and managing support teams through the full employee lifecycle, a product-minded approach to support (able to diagnose whether issues need product fixes, help articles, AI improvements, or human intervention), and comfort with AI tooling and its limitations. Within the first month you'll audit the full support experience and establish baseline metrics; by three months you'll ship measurable product improvements informed by customer feedback and supervise high-performing AI agents; within six months you'll build systems that reliably turn customer signals into shipped improvements with minimal engineering dependency.
