The role requires 5+ years of software development experience in distributed systems, strong proficiency in Java or Scala, and a track record of designing and deploying highly available, scalable systems; bonus points for experience with email clients, FTP clients, SDKs, and PHP. You'll spend roughly 60% coding, 15% on design, 15% on maintenance and on-call responsibilities, and 10% in meetings, working in Agile/Scrum with an expectation to be in the office minimum 3 days per week (Tues-Thurs focus).
