Brisk Teaching, an AI platform serving 2+ million K-12 educators, is hiring a Senior Business Operations Manager to own finance operations and financial planning for the company. You'll manage accounts receivable and payable, lead monthly budget reviews with department heads, prepare investor materials and board reports, handle vendor relationships and procurement, and drive process improvements across the business—reporting to the Head of Operations with high autonomy and partnering with a fractional CFO. The role requires 5–8 years in business operations, finance operations, or FP&A (ideally at an early-stage company building these functions from scratch), strong financial modeling skills, the ability to communicate numbers to non-financial leaders, and a scrappy, high-ownership mindset that defaults to using AI for automation and workflow building. This is a lean, fast-moving operations team at a Series A/B-stage edtech company backed by top investors (Bessemer, Owl Ventures) experiencing rapid growth. The ideal candidate has Series A/B experience during scaling, board reporting background, or procurement optimization wins—and critically, should be someone who reaches for Claude to build solutions before defaulting to manual spreadsheets.
