The role requires 2–4 years in consulting, investment banking, PE, or similar analytical roles where your thinking was the core product; you'll need genuine curiosity about how companies operate, resilience to handle rejection, and strong communication skills across phone, email, and LinkedIn. Success means booking 12–15 qualified monthly meetings with 80%+ show rates, building multi-threaded relationships, and developing a repeatable playbook that can scale—essentially defining what modern enterprise outbound looks like for a high-growth startup. This is explicitly not a traditional SDR dial-blasting role; you're expected to use AI as a default tool and bring intellectual rigor to prospecting.
