This is an on-site, full-time position for someone who can turn messy source data and business needs into working solutions—expect heavy hands-on work with CSV/Excel files, schema mapping, and data validation rather than pure software engineering.

FloQast is hiring a Director of People Business Partner for their R&D organization in San Jose, operating on-site three days per week. In this strategic HR role, you'll serve as the primary people advisor to the CTO and SVP of Product, aligning talent strategy, organizational design, and culture initiatives with the technical roadmap while coaching technical leaders through their management transitions. You'll own career architecture for engineers and product managers, drive engagement in the R&D environment, and use data to inform decisions on hiring, retention, and organizational scaling. Required experience includes 10+ years in HR with at least 5+ years as a senior People Business Partner supporting R&D in a high-growth tech or SaaS company, plus deep fluency in software development lifecycle and executive-level influence skills. This is a pivotal role for someone who can architect people systems for technical teams rather than simply administering HR programs. Note that visa sponsorship is not available.
