Freeform, an AI-native advanced manufacturing company building autonomous metal parts factories, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to own post-processing scaling—the critical bottleneck between prototype and production. You'll design and implement scalable manufacturing processes, improve fixturing and test procedures, develop process standards, and work cross-functionally to eliminate factory inefficiencies as part of a greenfield engineering effort with real production stakes. This role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering plus hands-on experience with machinery and hardware assembly; 2+ years in manufacturing or production engineering, experience with metal additive manufacturing or precision post-processing, and familiarity with GD&T or DFM are strongly valued. Based in Freeform's Hawthorne facility in LA's deep tech hub, the role offers $90K–$130K plus significant equity, full medical/dental/vision coverage, and catered meals.
