Hadrian, which builds autonomous factories for aerospace and defense manufacturing, is hiring a Program Director to lead a team of Technical Program Managers and Manufacturing Engineers delivering complex, long-cycle customer programs. The role sits at the intersection of customer relationships and factory operations, responsible for translating bespoke customer needs into standardized, repeatable production inputs while leading, mentoring, and holding your team accountable for delivery, quality, and operational cleanliness. You'll own end-to-end program visibility, commercial hygiene (keeping POs and engineering changes accurate at source), zero-defect order entry and configuration, and core quality workflows like PPAP compliance and corrective action management. This requires 3+ years of direct leadership in technical program management or manufacturing operations plus a technical degree (or equivalent); the ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership, aerospace/defense/regulated manufacturing experience, and proven ability driving commercial accountability with large institutional customers. Hadrian is well-funded (backed by A16z, Founders Fund, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price) and rapidly expanding with a 290,000-square-foot Factory 3 in Mesa opening soon with 350+ new positions.
