In this role, you'll set technical direction for performance across Helius, profile and optimize low-level Rust services handling massive throughput, lead cross-team initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks, and mentor engineers to raise performance engineering standards company-wide. You need 8+ years of systems-level engineering in Rust or C++, deep experience tuning high-throughput latency-sensitive systems, and a track record of leading ambiguous cross-team projects with strong intuition for hardware, OS, and network performance; experience in trading systems or performance-obsessed environments like Cloudflare or Netflix is a plus.
