Infinitus is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and scale core systems for Eva, an AI-powered health assistant automating healthcare administration and patient interactions. You'll own full-stack product delivery spanning frontend architecture, backend services, APIs, data integrations, and AI workflows—partnering across product, design, data science, and infrastructure teams to translate ambiguous opportunities into reliable, scalable systems. The role requires 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in modern frontend/backend technologies (React, TypeScript, Python, Go, Java), scalable API design, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and practical familiarity with AI-enabled product development including LLM integrations and retrieval systems. You should have a track record leading complex consumer or B2B products from 0 to 1, ideally in fast-moving startups, with strong product judgment, mentorship capabilities, and the ability to drive cross-team alignment in ambiguous environments.
