Kyverna Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on cell therapies for autoimmune diseases, seeks a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development to lead CAR T-cell therapy clinical trials as the physician lead working cross-functionally with internal teams and external investigators. The role involves overseeing medical monitoring, designing and executing clinical trials, developing regulatory submissions and clinical documents, and interpreting safety and efficacy data across assigned programs. Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent with 7+ years of clinical research experience including 4+ years in late-phase industry clinical development, with specialty training in neurology, rheumatology, nephrology or prior cell/autoimmune therapy experience strongly preferred. The position is remote or hybrid, reports to the SVP of Clinical Development & Medical Affairs, and offers a salary range of $330–370K plus bonus, benefits, and stock participation. A key requirement is deep expertise in GCP/ICH standards, clinical trial design, and the ability to engage effectively with site investigators and health authorities on complex regulatory matters.
