Nectar Social, a Series B AI-native social commerce platform founded by ex-Meta leaders and backed by $30M+ in funding, is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to establish reliability practices as the company scales. You'll own production system reliability and scalability for high-volume data ingestion pipelines and real-time AI agents, defining SLOs/SLIs, driving observability and incident response, and improving performance and cost efficiency across cloud infrastructure. The role requires 5+ years of SRE/infrastructure experience, proven expertise scaling databases and complex production systems under load, hands-on AWS or equivalent cloud skills, strong programming ability, and comfort in fast-moving startups; bonus experience includes maturing SRE practices at early-stage companies or familiarity with their stack (AWS, Pulumi, Postgres, ClickHouse, Temporal). This is one of their first dedicated SRE positions with outsized impact on how the organization operates at scale.
