Reddit's Compute Platform team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build infrastructure software that powers one of the internet's largest platforms. You'll design and deliver Go-based solutions for multi-cloud orchestration, develop Kubernetes controllers and operators for cluster automation, and build core tooling and SDKs for managing Reddit's global compute fleet across regions. The role requires 4+ years of internet-scale infrastructure and distributed systems experience, proficiency in Go and Kubernetes at scale, deep Linux internals knowledge (cgroups, namespaces), open-source contributions ideally in infrastructure or CNCF, and strong independent problem-solving and communication skills.
