Retool is hiring a Customer Operations Strategist to help scale its post-sale organization by defining metrics, delivering strategic insights, and driving operational improvements across Technical Customer Experience and Customer Success. You'll own the evolution of key performance indicators around customer health, retention, and expansion while conducting deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and opportunities across the customer lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical thinking and strategic influence—you'll partner with leadership on segmentation and coverage models, collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps and Finance, and leverage modern data tools and AI to accelerate insights rather than just report numbers. You need experience supporting post-sale functions in a high-growth environment, proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, comfort operating in ambiguity, and a bias toward high-impact work over busywork. The base pay range is $202,680–$335,000 annually with equity and comprehensive benefits; the role is hybrid in the US (specific UK roles available). This is a high-visibility, executive-level position that shapes strategy and organizational direction, not a systems or reporting role.
