SmarterDx, a clinical AI company founded by physicians, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance their platform that helps hospitals optimize revenue and improve quality scores. You'll deploy and maintain ML models in production, work with data scientists and engineers to integrate models into the platform, build MLOps infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines, and help optimize model performance and scalability. Required: 5+ years of ML engineering or MLOps experience, strong Python and SQL skills with PyTorch/TensorFlow proficiency, production ML deployment experience with Docker/Kubernetes, AWS familiarity, and understanding of CI/CD best practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. The role offers $190–230k base salary, is fully remote within the US, and sits in a fast-moving healthcare AI company with a strong tech stack (Airflow, Snowflake, MLflow, SageMaker). LLM production deployment experience is a nice-to-have, and healthcare sector background is valued but not required.
