Snorkel AI is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Core Services team, which owns the foundational data platform powering the company's AI infrastructure across Redwood City and San Francisco (both hybrid). You'll architect and build the shared data access libraries, event-driven systems, governance layers, and observability infrastructure that every product team and customer depends on—including work with Snowflake, S3, RDS, Postgres, and AWS services. Required experience includes 8+ years building platform or data infrastructure in production, strong Python proficiency, hands-on SQL and experience with at least two major databases, AWS fundamentals, and Kubernetes expertise. This is a critical role in the middle of a major architectural shift from single-database to multi-source, event-driven infrastructure, meaning the decisions you make now will shape data flow at Snorkel for years.
