Velo3D seeks a Technical Lead and Software Architect for its Build Preparation software team in Fremont, CA (hybrid), reporting into Engineering. You'll provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across Windows desktop applications, 3D graphics, geometry processing, and AWS-based distributed computing systems, partnering with product and engineering teams to design features, evolve the architecture for scalability and performance, and champion ML integration into the product. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 15+ years of production software development with strong C++ expertise, hands-on 3D graphics and geometry processing experience, and proven ability to design scalable architectures for complex distributed systems; Qt GUI experience is a plus.
