VGS, a leader in payment tokenization for fintech and banking, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead their Payments Acceptance team's Value-Added Services, including Network Tokens, Account Updater, and 3DS products. You'll manage 8–10 backend engineers, drive AI-native development methodologies, partner with Product and the CTO on roadmap and architecture decisions, and foster a high-performance culture centered on testing, automation, and operational excellence. Required experience includes 5+ years as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Architect in enterprise/high-growth SaaS, with strong command of Agile, DevOps, SRE practices adapted for AI-integrated development. This is a US-only, remote, full-time role reporting to the Senior Director of Payments Acceptance—the standout detail is the emphasis on "AI-native engineering management" and agentic workflows as core to how the team will design, build, and operate mission-critical financial products.
