Essential Responsibilities:
- Payroll process from beginning to end for 1600+ employees in ADP
- Assist in data entry of new hires, terminations, and merit increases
- Assist in data entry, including new hires and terminations within ADP
- Process commission payments (i.e. create files for upload through processing)
- Assist in preparing/review of manual checks for terminated employees (multi-states), within ADP
- Research employee payroll inquiries or answers ADP questions through the ticketing system
- Process wires for benefit plan HSA, FSA, 401K, NQ 409A&B, TSA
- Create upload files to ADP
- Assist in the review of payroll in ADP
- Reconciliation of commissions and contractor payments
- Assist with other special projects as required
- Create payroll upload files to go into ADP
- Transmission of 401K files to Fidelity
- Download of Fidelity Loans, deferrals to enter into ADP
- Training of staff on ADP Time & Attendance
- Assist in Year-End processing of W2 and 1099’s
- Prepare communications emails for Payroll
- Provide reports to the accounting team
- Review and input garnishments into ADP
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of Payroll / Human Resources experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance
- ADP Time & Attendance system
- Experience in processing within ADP
- Great follow-through skills and good math and logic skills
- Great customer service mindset
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task and willingness to work overtime
- Problem-solving abilities
- Basic office skills and abilities, knowledge of standard office equipment and software including Google Docs, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and ability and willingness to learn new and/or proprietary applications as required
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Interact with colleagues, team members, and other department staff, as well as management and executives in a professional office setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
