We do this by empowering game publishers with data so they can better understand their community, players, and game performance. We specialize in Measurement & Attribution, Influencer Activations, Creator Programs, and Creator-Led Playtests, all tailored to meet the unique needs of each game at every stage of its lifecycle.Gamesight is a fully remote, 55-person performance marketing company powering some of the biggest game launches in the world. We need an experienced, fractional HR generalist who can step in immediately, own the operational core of our HR function, and build the systems and automations that make it run better than it did before.This role is perfect for someone who treats a disconnected HR system like a Satisfactory factory mid-playthrough: you inherited someone else's spaghetti belts, nothing is labeled, and half the machines are backed up. You need the patience to trace it backward, the vision to rebuild it right, and the discipline to actually finish before starting the next thing.You'll have a direct line to Jess (Director of Operations) and full admin access to our HR stack from Day 1. We expect you to find broken things, fix them, document what you did, and tell us what to do next. If you're a fractional HR operator who thrives on cleaning up systems and building repeatable infrastructure, and you're available to start in one or two weeks, we want to talk. We’re estimating about 15 hours/week with some spikes during open enrollment, onboardings, etc. We’d love this person to commit to 6 months as a starting place, and we’ll go from there!Hours: ~15 hrs/week (variable; spikes during open enrollment and onboarding) Comp: $60-80/hour based on experienceLocation: Remote, North AmericaWhat You'll DoPayroll & HRISLearn end-to-end payroll processing in Rippling and be a back-up for the Finance team - multi-state FTE and PTE US employees, international contractors, EOR employees via Remote, and variable comp inputs across a growing headcount.Audit & manage Rippling as the system of record: employee records, role changes, org structure, P&L class assignments, and pay band maintenance.Flag and resolve tax compliance issues proactively; coordinate with Finance on payroll inputs and reconciliation.Benefits AdministrationAdminister benefits and equity programs across the full lifecycle: day-to-day employee questions, enrollments, changes, and carrier coordination across HUB International, Navia (HSA/FSA), Simon365, Carta, Vestwell (401k) and other vendors and partners.Own the bi-weekly HSA manual upload in Navia - and build a system to make it less painful.Lead September open enrollment planning with HUB; ensure all carrier relationships are documented and accessible.Resolve carrier support tickets.ComplianceOwn E-Verify for all new US hires.Manage state registration tracking and filing workflows; we're mid-transition from Mosey to LegalZoom.Monitor and respond to state and federal compliance obligations (tax notices, wage/hour, workers' comp via AmTrust, and any audit items in progress).Assist the Director of Operations on Secureframe SOC2 compliance posture and flag anything that needs attention.Systems & AutomationAudit the current HR tech stack and identify what's redundant, broken, or missing - then propose a cleaner architecture.Build or improve automation workflows in Rippling and connected tools to reduce manual work on recurring tasks (payroll inputs, onboarding checklists, offboarding access revocation, etc.).Document every recurring HR process in Tango or equivalent.Identify where AI tooling can reduce admin load and implement it where appropriate; we use Anthropic/Claude internally and are actively building AI workflows.Serve as the first line of communication for team members at Gamesight who need help with...
