Job Summary
Sr Manager, Supply Chain Management, Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon Advanced Products & Systems (APS), Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) Program Area. This role requires advanced/applied knowledge of the subcontract management, material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management, program startup and closeout processes, and proposal activities. international supplier management and Earned Value management a plus. Typically viewed as expert in multiple aspects of MRP, this role requires broad knowledge of financial, project and material management.
In this role, you will apply your existing knowledge of Supply Chain, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for large international franchise opportunities as part of an integrated product team (IPT). Additionally, you will participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities as the program(s) transition from low-rate initial design & development phase into full-rate production phases.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution. As a member of product team in a matrixed environment, you will frequently need to communicate at an executive level within and outside your function, using your ability to influence others outside of your immediate work area to explain gain alignment on plans, policies, practices, and procedures.
What You Will Do:
Principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle and other next generation ERP systems)
Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
Master Data, MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting
Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
Generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s)
Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.);
Ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, EXIM, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR 12, FAR 15, DFAR, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
Maintaining/Assessing the integrity of the MRP environment and your programs’ schedule within that environment
Balancing supply and demand to create/maintain executable schedules
Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities
Willingness to Travel Domestically/Internationally, as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) through education and past experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability to provide creative and systemic solutions
Experience leading Supply Chain related New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or Transition to Production (T2P) activities
Strong analytical skills required to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks and opportunities
Advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, automation, MS Office Integration, etc.)
A knowledge base that can be leveraged to affect change and provide creative, lasting systemic solutions to ensure MRP integrity in support of on time deliveries.
Team leadership/ management experience
Experience w/ international suppliers and EX/IM policies

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
