The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst. The incumbent provides administrative support and staff assistance to the Chief of Social Work Service.
The incumbent will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst organizationally aligned to the Social Work Service (SWS) at the VISN 10 Cleveland VAMC (541) - a level 1a complexity VHA facility. In this capacity the incumbent provides administrative support and staff assistance to the Chief of Social Work Service. The incumbent will directly and indirectly oversee administrative functions within Social Work Service, which includes but is not limited to Homeless Programs Operations, Group Practice Management, overall SWS operations, onboarding of Social Work Health Profession Trainees (HPT), recruiting and onboarding of social workers, registered nurses, vocational rehabilitation counselors in areas such as credentialing, privileging, and education. The duty of the position of Supervisory Management and Program Analyst includes but is not limited to the following: Oversight of onboarding and offboarding of new Social Work Service employees and HPTs, including obtaining appropriate VISTA/CPRS access, PIV/sponsoring process, VPN access and all YourIT needs. Acts as primary point of contact for service staff with other services at the facility, VISN, and VACO to support operations and all required needs. Grid creation and LEAF modifications for all SW w/grids, including PACT and maintains SW Grid Repository and Calculations/Mapping page to current state. Utilizes the Location Report to monitor for mirrored clinics and the Clinic Utilization report to audit and review grids for compliance with My Weekly Schedule or ISS. Completes required suspense's related to clinics, data, reporting and submission, including the MCA Data validation for Social Work Service which reflects and analyzes Workload, Financial accounts, Labor mapping and RVU's for Social Work Service. Responsible for HIMS follow up and education. Runs and disseminates EARR Open Encounters and Unsigned-Un-cosigned Reports. Assists staff with resolving HIMS encounter errors and completes the Quarterly Encounter Closeout for Social Work Service. Completes Workload Reports for Hiring Memos (vices) and assists supervisors in justification memos and functional statement/position description classifications. Develop and implementation of process for evaluating effectiveness of programs within Social Work Service to include all Homeless Programs. Develop reports, analyze data, summarize data, make recommendations for improvement, maintain/monitors data for accuracy, and integrate data with other Social Work systems. In the role of supervisor, the incumbent supervises a staff of employees that accomplish all administrative work within service. The supervisor provides general technical and administrative guidance. Serves as a Service technical expert regarding service specific operational and personnel administration issues. This includes responsibility for reviewing and updating position descriptions and performance standards. In addition, the incumbent directs such issues as leave administration, administrative/disciplinary actions, and incentive awards for administrative staff. Assists in the development, initiation, and implementation of administrative policies and procedures for the Social Work Service area of responsibility.
