Accountabilities:

    • Define and execute the long-term vision for a modern design system, expanding it into a comprehensive product experience platform that supports multiple products and teams.
    • Lead the development of reusable design patterns, interaction frameworks, accessibility standards, design primitives, and implementation guidelines that improve consistency and efficiency.
    • Drive the full lifecycle of shared design assets, including discovery, design, validation, implementation, governance, measurement, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
    • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Brand, and Marketing teams to identify strategic opportunities and ensure shared systems align with business objectives.
    • Elevate product quality by improving interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, visual consistency, motion design, and implementation fidelity across platforms.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing team of designers, design technologists, and systems specialists while fostering a collaborative, feedback-driven culture.
    • Establish scalable governance models and adoption strategies that encourage product teams to embrace shared systems and best practices.
    • Help define future-ready design infrastructure that supports emerging AI-driven experiences and evolving product capabilities.
    • Requirements

      • 12+ years of experience in product design, design systems, design technology, frontend platforms, or related disciplines, including leadership of large-scale design initiatives.
      • 5+ years of people management experience leading senior designers, managers, or multidisciplinary design teams.
      • Extensive experience building, scaling, or transforming enterprise-level design systems within complex, multi-product organizations.
      • Strong product judgment with the ability to connect design systems strategy to customer experience, business outcomes, and engineering efficiency.
      • Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, accessibility, motion, prototyping, and implementation quality.
      • Technical fluency with frontend technologies, component architecture, design tokens, and close collaboration with engineering teams.
      • Proven success influencing executive stakeholders and driving alignment across cross-functional organizations without relying solely on formal authority.
      • Experience establishing governance models, contribution workflows, documentation standards, and scalable design operations.
      • Strong systems thinking, strategic communication, leadership, mentoring, and organizational influence skills.
      • A portfolio demonstrating impactful design leadership, systems strategy, product innovation, and measurable business outcomes.
