Patient Care Associate I - Psych

SIGN ON/ RETENTION BONUS -  Totaling $3,000 for Full-Time Patient Care Associates

*Bonus Eligible* Department: Psychiatric Unit
Work Hours: 40 hours per week; primarily night shift 11p-7a; rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.

 

Provides basic patient care for the psychiatric patient appropriate to the age, culture, and developmental needs of the patient and under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides assistance with daily living tasks as appropriate.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills. BCLS.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Previous nursing assistant experience on a medical/surgical or psychiatric unit. Computer skills. Certified nurse assistant.
