Artsy is looking for a proactive, organised Employee Experience Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Berlin office and help create a welcoming, engaging workplace for our team. This is a part-time (20 hours per week), in-person role reporting to the Associate Director of People Operations.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly, from coordinating workplace operations and external vendors to supporting onboarding and planning team events. Working closely with colleagues across the business and our shared office provider, you'll bring a hospitality mindset, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems and improving the employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in creating well-run workplaces, and is excited to make a meaningful impact on our culture through thoughtful operational support and engaging in-office experiences.

What You'll Do:

Office Operations & Employee Experience

  • Own the day-to-day operations of our Berlin office, ensuring the space is welcoming, organised, and running smoothly

  • Manage office supplies and ensure snack & beverages are fully stocked

  • Coordinate external vendors and service providers to support office operations and project needs (e.g. facilities management, storage partners, and contractors).

  • Take ownership of local workplace projects and operational tasks, helping to continuously enhance the office environment and employee experience

  • Manage workplace systems and ensure the office remains well maintained, functional, and ready for employees each day

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for local new hires

Events & Team Engagement

  • Plan and deliver engaging team events, celebrations, and office initiatives that strengthen culture and foster connection

  • Bring fresh ideas and creative energy to employee engagement, helping make the Berlin office an enjoyable and collaborative place to work

  • Coordinate local events from planning through execution, including occasional support outside of standard working hours where required

Who You Are:

  • This is a part-time, in-person position (20 hours per week) based in our Berlin shared office space

  • You are currently located in Berlin and authorised to work in Germany

  • Fluent in both German and English, with confidence communicating with employees, vendors, and external partners

  • Proactive and creative—you naturally identify opportunities to improve the workplace and enjoy bringing new ideas to life

  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Reliable, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day office operations with minimal supervision

  • Detail-oriented—you enjoy keeping spaces organised, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise competing requests effectively

  • A strong communicator with a hospitality mindset who enjoys creating positive experiences for colleagues

  • Passionate about building team engagement and creating an office environment where people enjoy coming to work

  • Excited to take ownership of the Berlin office and continuously improve how the workplace operates

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to reimagine the art industry while working with a talented, diverse, international team

  • Part-time schedule (20 hours per week), typically Monday-Wednesday: 9:30am-1:30pm, with Thursdays worked flexibly depending on business needs

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Flexible time off: our culture of trust and empowerment allows employees to take the time they need away from work while still excelling in their roles

  • We are a global hybrid team: most employees work from our NYC, London, or Berlin offices 2-3 days per week. (In-person expectations vary by role)

  • Benefit options, including: German language subscription, global travel insurance, mental health resources, Urban Sports Club, standard pension & healthcare enrollment, parental and medical paid leave, and more

  • Professional development, including: mentoring, lunch & learns, regular training, 1:1 management, and an open feedback culture

  • Engaging opportunities and internal programming globally, to foster new relationships and build upon our collaborative community. Including: happy hours, holiday parties, global "All Hands" meetings, "Artsy Salon" (a yearly exhibition of our team's creativity), attendance to art world events, and more
