Your Role in VT Markets
As Research & Education Manager, you will report to the Global Marketing Head within the Global Marketing team, based in our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hub. Covering the APAC region with content creation in both English and Mandarin, you will serve as the bridge between complex market research and client-facing educational materials. Working collaboratively with research desk analysts, the Global Marketing COE team in Singapore, regional marketing teams, product teams, and designers, you will transform technical insights into compelling, accessible content that empowers our clients to make informed trading decisions.

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit
Job Experience & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in finance, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in content writing and management, preferably in the Fintech, Martech, Brokerage, or educational industry with a demonstrable portfolio of educational and technical content.
  • Experience working with research teams or financial analysts is essential; previous exposure to creating trading education materials or financial seminars is a strong advantage.
     
Technical and Functional Skills:
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, investment products, and brokerage operations with the ability to translate complex financial information into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent bilingual communication and writing skills in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) with the ability to create culturally appropriate content for APAC markets.
  • Proficiency in creating presentation materials using tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar platforms; working knowledge of content management systems (CMS), SEO principles, and basic analytics tools.
Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional storytelling ability with a talent for simplifying complex financial concepts without losing accuracy or depth, making technical information engaging and actionable for clients.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with analysts, marketers, designers, and regional teams; ability to give and receive constructive feedback to elevate content quality.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel periodically within the APAC region for client seminars, webinars, team collaboration, and content research purposes.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead collaborative content creation initiatives by working closely with research desk analysts to transform market insights, trading strategies, and research data into engaging, client-ready content across various formats and audiences. Develop technical and product-focused materials, including articles, blogs, white papers, and detailed guides that educate and inform clients about market opportunities and trading strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive educational content for client seminars, webinars, and workshops covering financial concepts, market trends, and trading strategies across APAC markets. Create diverse learning materials such as presentations, infographics, video scripts, and tutorials that simplify complex topics for diverse client segments with varying levels of trading experience.
  • Produce product- and trading-focused content, including detailed product descriptions, trading-related materials, and user guides for brokerage services, tools, and platforms. Develop FAQs, support documentation, and onboarding content to help clients effectively navigate and utilize VT Markets' trading platforms and products.
  • Design and execute content strategies that support client education, engagement, and retention objectives aligned with business goals. Stay continuously updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to ensure timely, relevant, and compliant content creation across all channels.
  • Maintain editorial excellence and quality assurance by proofreading, editing, and upholding high-quality standards for all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across English and Mandarin content while adhering to regional regulatory guidelines.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by partnering with product teams, marketing teams, analysts, and regional stakeholders to align content with business goals and client needs. Coordinate effectively with designers and developers to produce visually engaging, user-friendly content that enhances client learning experiences.
  • Optimize content performance through SEO and analytics by implementing search engine optimization best practices to improve content reach and discoverability. Monitor content performance metrics, including engagement rates, seminar attendance, content consumption patterns, and client feedback to refine strategies and maximize impact.
  • Create impactful seminar and presentation materials for client-facing educational events and internal training initiatives. Work closely with analysts and subject matter experts to ensure data, insights, and market analysis are presented in clear, engaging, and actionable formats that resonate with APAC audiences.
