Our Client is a multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

FUNCTION

Reporting to the Planning, Reporting and QA/QC Manager, within the Socioeconomic Development Division, the Above Risk and Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the monitoring, quality assurance and above ground risk management framework supporting the Company's socioeconomic development programmes; the main responsibilities include assisting the socioeconomic development teams in establishing, monitoring and evaluating performance indicators; coordinating the implementation of IT solutions to improve monitoring of field activities; supporting Stakeholder Engagement, Resettlement and Social Investment teams in implementing Above Ground Risk activities and periodic risk assessments; monitoring and reporting above ground risk performance through daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports; implementing the monitoring and quality assurance framework; ensuring alignment and coordination between cross-functional teams; identifying implementation gaps across programmes and recommending improvement actions; reviewing qualitative engagement reports and media analysis dashboards; monitoring and evaluating implementation partner performance against agreed objectives; developing and implementing a 52-week Quality Assurance and Quality Control plan; and coordinating the activities of QA/QC teams; supports project teams in maintaining a favourable project enabling environment by providing timely information on social risks, assisting with the identification and management of social impacts through effective monitoring systems and QA/QC processes, and contributing to the design of preventive and mitigation measures for identified risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Geography, Data Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Environmental Management or another relevant field;
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in social data management, quality assurance, monitoring and data analysis;
  • Solid understanding of workflow management and data maintenance processes;
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation of socioeconomic development programmes;
  • Experience in designing and managing data quality assurance procedures;
  • Knowledge of social processes and social licence to operate data tracking and trend analysis;
  • Experience in analysing data to improve planning, monitoring and implementation of socioeconomic development initiatives;
  • Familiarity with international Environmental and Social Performance Standards and reporting frameworks such as IFC, GRI and IPIECA will be considered an advantage;
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work effectively with multiple stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) ;
  • Mozambican nationality.
