Located in Mackay, Supporting the Branch and Administration Managers, you will play an important role in helping our financial and administrative processes run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with some administration experience who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy and is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity within a supportive team environment.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. With training and guidance provided, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills across accounts and branch administration while becoming a trusted and valued member of the team.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage day-to-day accounts administration, including purchase orders, supplier invoices and customer invoicing
  • Support payroll administration through accurate timesheet processing, reconciliations and payroll adjustments
  • Maintain accurate financial records, compliance documentation and data across multiple systems
  • Complete regular reporting and recurring administrative tasks to support smooth branch operations
  • Provide professional customer service and general administration support to internal stakeholders, customers and visitors

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Previous administration experience, with exposure to accounts, invoicing or payroll highly regarded. Experience is not essential, with training provided for the right person

  • A reliable and consistent approach, with the ability to follow processes and complete routine tasks accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to build strong relationships with the team

  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes
