It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today.We’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level.Join us and let’s shape the future of data.Job DescriptionAs Sputter Process Technician, you will be responsible for executing process characterization activities, ensuring sputter process meets key performance parameters, and supporting production through process monitoring and adjustments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform measurement on characterization / evaluations samples following the experiment plan prepared by Engineer. As well as production monitoring samples.Carry out trouble shooting on metrology tools.Data compilation using Excel or Power point for measurement samples.Monitor Machine alarms, take appropriate action based on guidelines & instructions providedCarry out periodic samples house keeping & other tasks assigned by Engineer.Support & cooperate with other department to solve assembly issue /MES (Manufacturing Execution System).Comply and support EHS policy. Participate company activities such as IMS, 6S, RBA, BCMS etcQualificationsREQUIRED:Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalentMinimum 1-2 Years working experience in manufacturing environment with machine operation, data collection & analytical skills is preferred.PREFERRED:Working experiences in sputter metrology tool and knowledge of Magnetic materials used in HDD would be an added advantage.Understanding of failure mechanisms, ability to isolate & detect process changes causing machine alarms.Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook). Macro in excel would be an added advantageEffective team player with proven relationship building & communication skills, including cross-functionally with Production, Equipment, Yield, and Quality.SKILLS:Junior Level Process TechnicianProblem Solving – Proficiency in troubleshooting process controls, process adjustments, data readback from machine, control limits.Communication - Ability to communicate technical information effectively to colleagues and engineers.Safety – Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing environment.Teamwork – Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams.Adaptability - Proficiency in handling emergencies and unexpected equipment failures.Additional Information#LI-LK1  WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
