Accountabilities

    • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack features for web and mobile applications, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and maintainability.
    • Design, build, and optimize backend services, APIs, microservices, and system integrations while evaluating trade-offs between performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and engineering to shape product strategy, define technical solutions, and deliver customer-focused features.
    • Develop clean, well-tested, documented code while participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, resolve complex bugs, and implement enhancements that improve system stability and customer satisfaction.
    • Mentor fellow engineers by sharing technical expertise, encouraging best practices, and supporting the professional growth of the development team.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor while contributing to successful digital transformation initiatives.
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or Full-Stack Developer, delivering modern web and mobile applications.
      • Strong backend development expertise with Java, including API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
      • Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL technologies including MongoDB.
      • Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub or Bitbucket, along with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
      • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deployment, infrastructure, and application hosting.
      • Knowledge of application performance optimization, debugging, testing methodologies, and secure software development practices.
      • Strong understanding of software architecture, clean coding principles, documentation standards, and maintainable application design.
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile, cross-functional, and client-facing environments.
      • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly within fast-paced development teams.
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
      • Experience with LaunchDarkly, localization and internationalization, SEO best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), hospitality technology, or open-source contributions would be considered an advantage.
