Management and Program Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Review and evaluate managerial policies and procedures to determine gaps where additional guidance is needed and analyzes the impact of new or proposed legislation on agency operations. Examine current organizational assignments in terms of program changes to identify overlaps or the need for consolidated functions to achieve maximum utilization of staff and makes recommendations to the supervisor. Develop, analyze, and evaluate new or modified program/management policies, regulations, goals, or objectives. Identify and analyze issues, problems, and challenges facing the organization; formulates and evaluates possible courses of action for resolving them; draws conclusions based on relevant facts; and recommends solutions to organizational leadership. Provide expert authoritative analysis and evaluation of work processes and policies, programs, management practices and work operations taking into full consideration complex legislative, programmatic and management issues and problems. Compile data and prepares complex administrative and management reports that emanate from the agency or higher echelons in the organization.
