Duties: Responsible for strategy and development of support solutions to deliver exceptional customer experiences across mobile, web, and voice platforms for Uber's new businesses. Define roadmap and lead execution of support solutions for Uber's new business. Work closely with the Core Product team and global community operations organization to build efficient and scalable customer support experiences. Internalize and deeply understand Uber’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the specific team. Collect the necessary data to inform product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, user behavior or other business metrics. Drive cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals. Drive innovation, definition, deliverables planning (roadmap) and design of entirely new Uber products and product features to deliver against team and company goals. Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation. Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process to drive growth. Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to Uber executives, employees, and customers. May telecommute.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Systems, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Position requires 4 years of experience in:
- Product Management in software and app development;
- Driving product roadmap definition outlining the vision goals and timelines for product development;
- AI/ML, including generative AI and NLP;
- Data science & analysis: interpreting data, designing A/B tests, identifying data-driven insights, utilizing statistical analyses, understanding product performance, and making data-driven decisions;
- Strategic thinking: developing a clear product vision and defining product strategy;
- Stakeholder management: working with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, and Legal;
- Technical design: API design and cloud technologies (AWS or GCP);
- User experience and workflow design: developing workflows across mobile and web platforms; and
- Customer support automation: developing process automation and support tooling.
