Line of Business Description: GCO (Global Credit Operations) Responsible for the fulfillment, servicing and protection of credit offerings for business banking, Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM), commercial and corporate clients as well as leasing and trade products. The Agency Management Officer (AMO) has two distinct client bases:  the Borrower client and the Lender clients.   Business partners include Global Capital Markets (Syndicated Loans), Internal and External Legal Counsel, Credit and Portfolio Officers, Client Managers, and many internal operational support units. AMOs demonstrate time schedule flexibility to accommodate deal closing requirements. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Enterprise Description:  

  • Agency Management Officers (AMO) handle all multi-bank (syndicated) deals in the Commercial and Corporate lending units. AMOs become involved in the beginning “pitch” stage. AMO's lead the transaction closing and continue managing the relationship through the deals lifespan administering the contractual provisions. These responsibilities include leading the activities around amendments, waivers, and consents.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years experience with the Syndicated Lending operations and process

  • Ability to coordinate and be point of contact in deal/amendment closing process

  • Strong communication skills; able to target messaging to different audiences

  • Ability to navigate the enterprise; research and resource information across the bank

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to plan, prioritize and manage deliverables

  • Strong ability to influence, negotiate and lead diverse groups to achieve desired results

  • Applies critical thinking to analyze, identify and deal with legal, business, reputation, and operational risk

  • Adapts well to a quickly evolving environment

  • Ability to influence well and negotiate skillfully

Desired Skills

  • Commercial credit lending and portfolio management experience

  • Knowledge of GCB (Global Corporate Band)/GIB (Global Investment Bank) environment, organizational alignment, strategic priorities

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$79,600.00 - $100,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
