Field Service Engineer - UAE Nationals Only
As a Commercial Fire Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales and market development for fire protection products aimed at commercial applications. This position requires strong technical knowledge of fire safety products, UL/EN standards for Fire systems, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of commercial fire protection products, including fire alarms, suppression systems, and fire safety equipment, to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and workshops, effectively communicating the benefits and features of building management systems to prospective clients.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to clients during the sales process, ensuring appropriate application of FIRE products to meet customer requirements. Remote and On-Site Field Supports to resolve Customer reported Technical Issues.
- Training and Support: Conduct Technical training sessions for clients and sales teams on product features, installation, and regulations related to commercial fire safety products.
- In-Service Issue Resolution: Efficient Case Reporting, creation, Response, Resolution, Feedback / Surveys.
- New Products Entry Into Service: Co-ordinate with Offering, Share Alpha and BETA feedbacks, prepare Technical Support and Training Plans.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing timely and informative follow-up.
- Compliance Awareness: Stay current with regulations, industry standards, and best practices in fire safety to advise clients appropriately.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Pre-Sales, Sales, Offering, Engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and assist in the improvement of existing products or the development of new offerings.
- Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing channel partners, End-users.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience through internship, in sales engineering, technical support, or a related field, preferably working with Fire systems or similar technologies would be an added advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with commercial fire safety regulations, systems, and product features.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with frequent visits to customer sites for consultations, Field Supports and demonstrations.
- Some travel may be required to attend trade shows, conferences, or client meetings.
