What this job involves

JLL is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Swiss team as the Head of Leasing Advisory. Based in our Zurich office, you will hold overall responsibility for the growth, performance, and strategic direction of our Landlord and Tenant Representation business across Switzerland. You will lead a dedicated team, drive market share in both the German- and French-speaking regions, and act as a key person for JLL within the Swiss real estate market. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the real estate sector. Fluency is German and English is essential with business level French language skills also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Assume full responsibility for the development of the "Leasing Advisory" business line across Switzerland, with a key objective of driving growth in both the German-speaking and French-speaking regions for both Tenant and Landlord Representation services
  • Develop and execute innovative  acquisition strategies to win new mandates and increase brand awareness on a national level.
  • Develop services for new asset classes such as Life Science, Data Center etc.
  • Strengthen JLL's market position by leveraging and extending your network and building a strong local pipeline for both leasing and tenant representation mandates.
  • Achieve annual financial and strategic targets set by the Swiss and EMEA management.

Team & Operational Management

  • Hold full P&L, budget, and personnel responsibility for the national department, including reporting to our global organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leasing team across Switzerland, ensuring continuous professional growth, consistent quality, and the ongoing enhancement of tools and processes.
  • Oversee all leasing activities, including the initial and subsequent letting of commercial properties
  • Oversee all Tenant Representation activities from acquisition through execution until closing
  • Foster collaboration and synergies between the Tenant and Landlord Representation team and between Geneva and Zurich

Client & Mandate Oversight

  • Hold ultimate responsibility for major landlord representation mandates for commercial properties on behalf of institutional investors and private owners.
  • Assume overall responsibility for all tenant representation mandates for a prestigious portfolio of international clients
  • Act as the project lead on complex strategic advisory mandates for both property owners and occupiers, including location searches, lease renewals, and holistic strategy development.

Representation & Collaboration

  • Represent the Swiss Leasing Advisory team in internal management meetings and collaborate effectively with other JLL business lines.
  • Serve as a primary ambassador for JLL within the Swiss real estate industry, actively participating in industry organizations, associations, and external events.
