About the team
Talent Acquisition at Airwallex sits at the frontier of company building. Because talent is the ultimate driver of our global growth, you will operate as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, bringing market insight and judgment to decisions that shape Airwallex's trajectory. It's a team for recruiters who challenge assumptions, influence outcomes, and consistently raise the bar. You'll build trusted relationships with top-tier candidates, helping them understand both the opportunity and expectations that come with joining Airwallex. If you want to help build a generational company, you'll find plenty of opportunities to make your mark here.
What you’ll do
As a Talent Acquisition Partner based in Singapore, you will play a hands-on role in driving Airwallex’s growth across Asia. You will own end‑to‑end searches for a blend of high‑volume go‑to‑market roles and senior corporate positions, switching seamlessly between building scaled pipelines and running targeted executive‑style searches. You will partner directly with senior leaders and executives to shape hiring plans, advise on talent strategy, and raise the bar on every hire. You will also utilise AI tools, data, and market intelligence to streamline the recruiting process and move with pace without sacrificing quality. This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Run full‑cycle recruitment across a mixed portfolio of roles, from high‑volume GTM hiring (e.g. AEs, AMs, SDRs) to senior corporate and leadership positions, including sourcing, screening, interview management, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Develop and execute creative, data‑driven sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, market mapping, networking, direct outreach, and AI tools to build and maintain strong pipelines of high‑quality candidates.
Manage competing priorities and high requisition volume in a fast‑paced environment, balancing speed with a relentless commitment to quality, cultural alignment, and candidate experience.
Partner directly with executives and senior leaders to understand business goals, define role requirements, build hiring plans, and act as a strategic advisor on talent, market trends, interview design, and decision‑making.
Utilise AI tools, Ashby (our ATS), and recruitment analytics to streamline workflow, track key metrics, generate insights, and continuously improve the efficiency and consistency of the recruiting process.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication, thoughtful preparation, timely feedback, and confident closing that reflects Airwallex’s operating principles and ambitions.
Share best practices and mentor peers where relevant, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation with new tools (including AI), and high standards across the Talent Acquisition team.
Who you are
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications
7–12 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including proven success hiring both high‑volume go‑to‑market talent and more senior corporate or leadership roles in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience working in a tech or fintech company, with comfort operating in environments that are ambiguous, high growth, and standards‑driven.
Experience hiring across Asia is a big plus (Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong etc).
Demonstrated strength in running end‑to‑end searches independently, from intake and sourcing strategy through to offer design, negotiation, and close.
Evidence of partnering directly with senior stakeholders and executives as a trusted advisor, influencing hiring decisions using data, insights, and clear judgment.
Practical experience using AI tools and modern recruiting technology (e.g. AI notetakers, sourcing agents, sequencing tools, or analytics) to improve speed, quality, or consistency in your recruiting workflow.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to context‑switch quickly between high‑volume searches and senior, niche mandates across multiple countries.
Preferred qualifications
Track record recruiting for both GTM roles (such as Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success) and corporate functions (such as Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, People) in tech, fintech, SaaS, or other scaling organisations.
Experience building or refining recruiting processes, interview frameworks, or JD templates, including incorporating AI and data into how your team works.
Familiarity with Ashby or similar ATS platforms, plus comfort working with recruitment analytics to monitor funnel health, diagnose issues, and recommend actions.
Curiosity, grit, and bias for action, with a track record of experimenting with new tools and approaches, learning quickly, and raising the hiring bar while moving fast.
