In this role, you will impact the timely delivery of products and materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to the smooth operation of the supply chain within the business unit.
- Manage and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of materials.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and related documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve shipping and receiving issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during all shipping and receiving operations.
- Experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and shipping documentation processes.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and shipping software tools.
- Ability to handle shipping logistics, including carrier coordination and freight documentation.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards related to shipping and receiving operations.
WE VALUE
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or logistics roles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse or shipping operations.
