- Create, update, and enforce global physical security policies, standards, playbooks, procedures, and controls aligned with industry best practices, applicable laws, and regional requirements.
- Build a scalable global operating model that balances enterprise consistency with local execution across regions and sites.
- Serve as Marvell’s senior subject matter expert on physical security risk, workplace safety, threat response, and security posture.

- Protect Marvell employees, contractors, visitors, customers, vendors, executives, and facilities through proactive risk identification, prevention, response, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the development of workplace security programs covering access control, visitor management, CCTV / video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarms, badge governance, lobby security, mail and package screening, parking, perimeter protection, and sensitive-area controls.
- Ensure physical security measures are effective, reliable, properly maintained, and appropriate for the risk profile of each site.
- Establish global standards for security at offices, labs, engineering spaces, events, executive visits, customer meetings, and high-profile internal gatherings.
- Embed security into the planning, design, construction, renovation, and commissioning of new and existing Marvell facilities.
Risk, Intelligence, Crisis Management, and Incident Response
- Develop a global physical security risk assessment framework that identifies vulnerabilities, prioritizes remediation, and drives measurable risk reduction.
- Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, site assessments, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews.
- Lead Marvell’s response to significant physical security threats, incidents, workplace violence concerns, protests, natural disasters, geopolitical disruptions, executive threats, and other crises affecting people or facilities.
- Build a stronger threat-monitoring and intelligence capability to assess emerging risks across Marvell’s global footprint.
- Develop and lead international travel safety protocols, including traveler education, risk monitoring, active traveler tracking, escalation procedures, and emergency support.
- Partner with Cybersecurity, IT, and business continuity teams to establish a Fusion Center model that integrates cyber response, physical security, threat intelligence, travel risk, emergency response, and IT help desk coordination.
Security Technology, GSOC, and Operational Excellence
- Evaluate, modernize, and govern Marvell’s global security technology ecosystem, including access control, video management systems, intrusion detection, emergency notification, visitor management, mass communication, analytics, alarm monitoring, and incident management tools.
- Define the roadmap for a Global Security Operations Center capability, including 24/7 monitoring, intelligence collection, incident triage, escalation, reporting, and after-action analysis.
- Ensure security systems are integrated, reliable, auditable, and aligned with operational, compliance, and customer expectations.
- Develop a metrics-driven operating model that gives leaders visibility into security posture, incidents, risk trends, vendor performance, remediation progress, and budget impact.
- Drive standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement across Marvell’s global physical security operations.
Vendor, Contractor, Budget, and Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and develop a global security team composed of employees, contractors, vendors, and regional partners.
- Oversee security vendor strategy, selection, contracting, performance management, service quality, compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement.
- Manage a significant global security budget, ensuring investments are prioritized based on risk, business impact, operational effectiveness, and long-term scalability.
- Build a high-accountability culture across internal and external security resources.
- Create training, awareness, and education programs that help employees understand security protocols, emergency procedures, travel safety expectations, and incident reporting channels.
Executive Advisory, Investigations, and External Partnerships
- Advise senior executives on physical security risk, protective measures, emerging threats, incident response, and strategic investments.
- Prepare clear, concise, executive-ready briefings on global security posture, major incidents, program maturity, and risk mitigation plans.
- Lead or support investigations involving major physical security incidents, workplace threats, facility intrusions, theft, suspicious activity, executive concerns, or other significant events.
- Build trusted relationships with law enforcement, emergency management agencies, intelligence-sharing organizations, industry security associations, peer companies, and relevant public-private security groups.
- Represent Marvell externally as an experienced, credible, and business-oriented security leader.

You can expect:
- Enterprise-level scope: You will shape the global security strategy for a semiconductor leader with employees, operations, customers, and partners across multiple regions.

- Cutting-edge business context: You will support teams working on advanced semiconductor technologies that enable AI infrastructure, cloud-scale systems, data movement, optical connectivity, custom silicon, networking, and storage.
- Cross-functional partnership: You will work across Cybersecurity, IT, Workplace, Legal, HR, Facilities, Real Estate, EHS, Communications, Finance, Procurement, and business units.
- Global complexity: You will lead across geographies, cultures, regulatory environments, travel risks, geopolitical developments, and site-specific operating needs.
- A culture of rigor and innovation: Marvell values integrity, customer-focused innovation, thorough execution, and collaboration. This role requires a leader who can bring those same behaviors to a modern global security program.
- A full-time in-office leadership environment: This role is based in the office five days per week. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
