This role focuses on AI Infrastructure related feature and capability developement. The engineer will work closely with internal AI / platform / kernel teams and external OEM customers to accelerate feature delivery, reduce customer integration complexity, and improve overall development efficiency and debuggability for NPU-based solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain NPU-related new features and customer requirements on Qualcomm platforms, ensuring timely delivery for new platform and commercialization needs.Participate in NPU driver new feature development and optimization, including performance, stability, and maintainability improvements for Hexagon related use cases.Optimize NPU RPC performance and software interaction paths to reduce customer integration overhead and improve end-to-end efficiency for NPU algorithm deployment.Improve NSP algorithm integration efficiency for Qualcomm platform customers by enhancing software enablement, debug methodology, and issue analysis workflow.Drive urgent issue resolution for customer NSP algorithm integration, including debugging, root-cause analysis, workaround alignment, and blocker closure.Collaborate with AI software, driver, kernel, and platform teams to support Linux-based application / driver development and platform enablement on NPU.Contribute to technical guidance, API usage support, and development best practices to improve customer adoption efficiency on Qualcomm NPU / Hexagon software stacks.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s, Master’s, or above in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering, or a related field.Solid capability in embedded system design and software development.Strong programming skills in C/C++, with hands-on experience in Linux application development and Linux driver development.Proficient in using AI development tools such as Claude and Codex to improve development efficiency.Good team spirit, effective communication, and strong problem-solving skills.Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Qualcomm platform AI software development, such as QNN, SNPE, and Hexagon SDK.Experience in RPC driver development and/or RPC performance optimization.Experience with Linux PCIe-related development, especially for NPU / GPU or heterogeneous compute subsystems.Experience with NPU/GPU driver-related development, debugging, or performance tuning.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
