Remote Recruitment is hiring a Customer Retention Specialist for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify at-risk customers and reach out before they churn
- Conduct empathetic retention calls, resolve complaints and address concerns
- Negotiate contract renewals, upgrades and pricing arrangements
- Design and execute win-back campaigns for recently churned customers
- Track and report retention metrics and customer health scores weekly
- Collaborate with customer success and product teams to improve the experience
Requirements
- 2+ years of customer success, retention or account management experience
- Empathetic and persuasive communicator with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable handling difficult conversations and objections confidently
- Experience with CRM and customer success platforms such as Salesforce or Gainsight
- Self-motivated and capable of managing an independent caseload remotely
