FP&A Manager – Expense, Overview

FP&A manager, Expense will lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Services business. They monitor and manage the expenses, prepare and analyze financial reports, and drive the strategy and business process improvement by using financial tools and models. They also support the finance business partners globally and regionally with data analysis and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Leads the expense forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the business goals and objectives
• Leads the development of financial models and reporting solutions by leveraging automation and data-driven approaches, utilizing tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, Power BI, and other analytical platforms to streamline data collection, forecasting, model maintenance, and management reporting while establishing consistent frameworks and methodologies for global and regional finance business partners.
• Designs, develops, and maintains global personnel expense forecasting models, including headcount, compensation, benefits, bonus, and related labor cost analyses, ensuring consistency and scalability across business units and regions.
• Develops and delivers standardized personnel expense reporting and executive dashboards, providing actionable insights on workforce trends, productivity metrics, and financial impacts.
• Prepares and presents financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and analysis, highlighting the key drivers and variances of the business performance
• Drives strategy and business process improvement initiatives by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling; provides insights and recommendations to optimize the region, product and business unit plans
• Communicates across the various stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and transparency within the organization
• Supports the LBF initiative by running and maintaining business models to analyze expense and profitability trends and opportunities (e.g. MIS, KPIs, CEO deck)
• Demonstrates strong modeling capabilities
• Successfully embodies change management; fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Develops and delivers compelling presentations that convey the story behind the numbers and frameworks; coaches and guides team members on how to effectively communicate complex financial information to various audiences
• Develops expertise at expense line level such as personnel, fulfillment, data processing; understands the drivers and dynamics of each expense category and how they impact the overall business performance

Experiences

• Experienced in core FP&A disciplines, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close variance analysis, and the identification of risks and opportunities, providing financial insights that support business performance management and strategic decision-making.
• Ability to model and perform predictive analytics to review financial and operational scenarios and outcomes
• Experience operating in a diverse, multi-functional finance group; demonstrates strong leadership and influence skills
• Exposure to supporting a designated business area on expense management, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
• Experienced with financial systems and applications; serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to those less experienced (e.g. Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; drives best practices and standards across the finance function
• Experience leading and managing a team of financial analysts; develops and leverages key relationships in order to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Successfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient manner; adapts to changing business needs and priorities
• Availability to work in the office 3 times a week
• Advanced english
