Financial crimes platforms do not operate in isolation — they function as an interconnected ecosystem where data flows from upstream sources, powers risk and compliance decisioning across multiple platforms, and feeds downstream consumers. Today, no single role owns that end-to-end architectural picture. That gap is a material risk.
The financial crimes platform landscape spans Customer Risk Rating, Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, Sanctions Screening, and Enterprise Risk Assessments Without unified functional and technical architecture ownership, these platforms operate in silos, creating redundancy, misalignment, and fragility at every data handoff.
This knowledge does not exist in a consolidated form today, and the absence of it is actively limiting our ability to scale, integrate, and deliver with confidence.
What this role delivers:
A Product Manager with deep financial crimes platform knowledge and enterprise architecture fluency who will:
• Own the end-to-end functional and technical architecture across all GCIP platforms
• Govern upstream data intake and ensure downstream data outputs meet platform and regulatory requirements
• Drive cross-platform integration strategy across CRR, Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, Sanctions Screening, and Assessments
• Serve as the institutional knowledge hub for how data moves, transforms, and powers financial crimes decisioning across the enterprise
The risk of inaction: Without this role, GCIP continues to operate without a coherent architectural strategy — exposing the organization to integration failures, regulatory gaps, and an inability to execute on the platform modernization and capability buildout that financial crimes leadership has committed to delivering.
As a Product Manager driving the GCIP functional architecture keeping the CRR engine as hub and driving the modernization roadmap and strategy, including data strategy for the consolidated data layer we are building. You will partner closely with Enterprise teams across LOBs and different teams across Acquisition, Compliance, Financial Crimes – COE, Privacy, Servicing, Marketing, Data Science, Data Governance, Platforms and Technologies to drive the CRR product vision and data strategy and supporting financial crimes.
We’re looking for a high-caliber Product Manager who can work in a cross-functional team and deliver on the following goals and objectives:
- Define the end-to-end functional architecture to better visualize the flow of data between platforms and systems and functional architecture for the risk rating platform.
- Responsible for translating financial crime risk management strategy into scalable business capabilities, functional designs, and solution requirements while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment across technology teams.
- Lead ongoing management and optimization of product backlogs, collaborate across a wide net of stakeholders across commercial teams globally, Technology, Strategy, Compliance, Business Unit Data Offices (BUDO), etc.
- Drive alignment across internal stakeholders on key product, delivery, and data decisions and drive functional specifications
- Translate business requirements into capabilities and features for flawless delivery and execution
- Manage specific tracks of product /capability/data strategy development efforts from ideation to launch and maintenance
- Define, measure and report on metrics related to product launch, process efficiency and performance
- Partnering with use case owners and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of end-to-end product and capability, identifying needs, opportunities and gaps

Ability to understand complex business problems and translate complex data solution in a simplified manner for business partners.

Experience with data strategy, data quality frameworks, and platform modernization initiatives. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and agile tooling (Jira, Confluence).
- Architecture & Platform Thinking: Experience developing or contributing to functional architecture diagrams, reference architectures, or capability models. Ability to rationalize build-vs-buy decisions, vendor assessments, and platform consolidation strategies.
