Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Review and update department processes and instructions.
Based on directions provided by engineering and knowledge developed on the job, determine appropriate actions to be applied by monitoring performance, analyze data and identify trends to predict potential issues.
Provide staff with rework instructions and guidance
Perform engineering activities as assigned to provide engineering support during hours when engineers are not present.
Skills & Abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills. Capable of effective communication with all levels of the plant personnel.
Must be self-motivated, an independent thinker, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Salary
Anticipated Pay Range: $60k - $70k per year. *Pay rates within this range are determined and based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in manufacturing or a technical role
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must be available and willing to work overtime as needed

This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some coursework towards an Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
Previous experience with dimensional measurement devices (calipers, CMM UT, Pincher Gauges, etc.)
CAD and blueprint interpretation experience
Familiarity with FPI, X-ray, and Visual Inspection
