Director of Admissions & Business Development

The Director of Admissions & Business Development leads census growth and revenue performance for Radford Green across Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. This role oversees the full admissions process from inquiry to move-in, while driving referral development, marketing initiatives, and community outreach. The Director ensures a high-quality customer experience, aligns services with market demand, and maintains regulatory compliance. This position supervises the Clinical Liaison and Admission Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead admissions operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processes
  • Drive occupancy goals through active census and referral pipeline management
  • Conduct admission assessments and coordinate with clinical teams for appropriate placement
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, and community partners
  • Represent Radford Green through tours, outreach, and community engagement
  • Track census, payer mix, and admissions data; maintain accurate documentation and CRM records
  • Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies
  • Lead, coach, and hold admissions/marketing staff accountable to performance goals
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and support quality initiatives
  • Assist with reporting, budgeting, and operational support as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business or related field required (Master’s preferred)
  • 3–5 years of healthcare admissions, sales, or business development experience
  • Skilled in census growth, relationship building, and referral management
  • Strong knowledge of post-acute care, payer sources, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license required
