As an intern in our EMEA Controlling team you’ll get an amazing opportunity to learn and develop yourself while making a real impact. You will be exposed to the full scope of finance-compliance activities and will work closely with the other controlling team members, finance- and other internal teams. The position is full-time (two days at the office) for six months.

Responsibilities
- Support the various internal and external compliance audits (e.g., SOX, IA, ACP) in close cooperation with the other controlling team members.
- Assistance in monthly US GAAP reporting and support a proper month-end closing cycle (Journal Entry, Report preparation)
- Support in monthly Balance Sheet reviews.
- Assistance in preparing the annual budget cycle for the assigned cost centers.
- Support preparing the annual statutory reports for the assigned legal entities for the new year.
- Ad hoc activities (support in various projects /reports)
Team
The intern is part of the EMEA controlling team and will report to one of the Junior Controllers. The controlling team is part of a broader EMEA finance team (FSSC, FP&A and Controlling).
Requirements
- Level of education: HBO - Business Economics/Accounting or similar
- Able to communicate in English.
- Able to work independently.
- Hands-on mentality with a pro-active attitude
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
