Job Description
As a Security Officer Entry Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and perform routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This role blends strong communication and customer service with a visible presence, while supporting a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal guidelines at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized activity through consistent screening and observation practices.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting security-related concerns and documenting observations according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
