Role Overview

This role coaches and supports customers to help them succeed on the company’s platform. The position focuses on increasing customer value through effective commercial conversations, relationship building, and solution-oriented support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and begin developing relationships with customers and their account teams, including key buyers and decision-makers

  • Support the creation of opportunities such as progress meetings and exploratory conversations to grow customer accounts

  • Develop an understanding of customer business challenges through appropriate internal and external channels

  • Recommend products, services, and insights that align with customer needs

  • Complete basic account plans that outline tactics to acquire and maintain business

  • Build an understanding of how the department operates and contributes to the broader organization

  • Develop awareness of policies, practices, trends, and competitor activity that affect the organization and its customers

  • Gain a basic understanding of the financial impact of decisions and solutions on both the organization and customers

  • Guide accounts toward valuable insights and present recommendations that benefit both the customer and the organization

  • Gather data and information on potential ideas and solutions to address business needs

  • Contribute to business cases for change under the guidance of more senior colleagues

  • Develop working knowledge of the company’s standard contract terms and conditions through product literature, contracts, and collaboration with peers

  • Learn when to engage legal partners to modify standard contract terms

  • Build understanding of the contract negotiation process and contractual arrangements

  • Exchange straightforward information clearly and effectively to gain support from others

  • Seek support from a manager when needed to resolve differences and align stakeholders

  • Assist in conducting basic cost, benefit, and risk analyses of possible solutions, including the implications of not reaching agreement

  • Identify key stakeholders involved in account decision-making

  • Develop understanding of standard offerings and major areas of expertise

  • Build working knowledge of products, technologies, and commercial offerings within the role’s scope

  • Develop a broad understanding of competitor products and services

  • Understand the value and application of products, technologies, and offerings for customers and the organization

  • Recognize the importance of building rapport and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with colleagues and external customers

  • Learn about customer leaders and decision-makers through internal customer relationship management systems

  • Develop a basic understanding of customer industries and competitive markets, and use company tools to access market-specific insights

  • Participate in customer meetings to better understand needs and expectations

  • Learn the metrics used to assess the performance of products, services, and solutions against customer needs

  • Help develop value proposition statements, case studies, and proof points to demonstrate the value of the company’s products, services, and solutions

Experience

  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in English and Italian is a must have.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Growing knowledge of sales techniques

  • Account management experience preferred

The total cash range for this position in Milano is €38,500.00 to €54,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to €61,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
