The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, reporting solutions, and analytical recommendations that support decision-making across the organization. This role works with large and complex datasets to acquire, integrate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources in order to identify trends, answer business questions, and uncover opportunities for improvement.

The analyst develops and maintains scalable reporting, dashboards, and data visualization solutions using SQL, Power BI, and modern cloud-based data platforms. Responsibilities include interpreting data using analytical and statistical techniques, translating business requirements into meaningful metrics and actionable insights, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. The role partners closely with business and technology teams to provide a holistic view of performance, support strategic initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Additionally, the Business Intelligence Analyst monitors the impact of recommendations, measures business outcomes, and continuously improves reporting and analytics capabilities. All data acquisition, governance, sharing, and reporting activities must comply with company standards, policies, and data management practices.

Basic Qualifications 
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience 
- Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced SQL development skills, including writing complex queries and working with large enterprise datasets

  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI

  • Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies

  • Proficiency in analytical and statistical tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, SAS, SPSS, Hadoop, geospatial tools, or similar technologies

  • Experience in analytics, advanced analytics, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, organize, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns within complex datasets

  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources and transforming data into scalable analytical solutions

  • Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, insights, and recommendations

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to solve business problems, influence decisions, and drive business outcomes

  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams to deliver comprehensive analytical solutions

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
