Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Sales Executive you’ll develop and manage plans to guide sales efforts across all market segments, with a focus on Groups, Meetings & Events, and provide support to the Director of Sales in implementing sales strategies and action plans when required.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Generate new business leads: Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to uncover opportunities across revenue streams
- Grow customer accounts: Build relationships with existing customers and identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Negotiate and contract effectively: Secure group and corporate bookings by negotiating rates and preparing contracts in line with pricing strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with other hotel departments to develop exceptional guest experiences and build comprehensive sales programs
- Provide visibility into sales efforts: Maintain detailed records of sales activity and deliver timely updates to Sales leadership
Respond to client enquiries: Handle customer questions and requests promptly and professionally to support conversion and satisfaction
Qualifications & Experience
1-3 years experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry (hotel experience preferred)
Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proactive, goal-oriented, and commercially driven
Ability to travel as required
Calm personality, well-organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team
