Founder Operations Intern

ParisInternshipPosted Sep 1, 2025
[NEXT STARTING DATE BEING (LATE) SEPTEMBER 2026]

You'll run the ops behind The Bridge, Entrepreneurs First's US residency: the day-to-day of finding, selecting and backing the best founders in Europe. You sit on a two-person Ops team in Paris, so it's real ownership from week one.

What you'll do:
Picture the path a founder takes with us: thousands apply, a handful get selected, and the very best fly to San Francisco to build. Your job is to make that whole machine run. None of it is theoretical, you own real outcomes and you see the impact fast. Your missions sit around three areas:

  • Talent Ops. You run the engine that finds and selects the founders we back, and you scale that machine. You help move the strongest candidates through each stage of the process, all the way to our selection days, the final step where we decide who joins the cohort. You keep the pipeline clean and build the dashboards that show us, in real time, where the funnel stands and where it's leaking.
  • Product Ops. Once a founder is in, you own the product and content we deliver to them, and you become their voice. You make their journey to San Francisco feel effortless: the offer, the onboarding, the paperwork, the US visa. This is where you get closest to the founders, and where your ideas to improve the experience actually come to life.
  • Moonshot Project. The fun one. A project that's entirely yours, to build something that makes the team sharper: an automation, a new tool, an experiment. You dream it up, you ship it. Past interns used theirs to launch a founder programme at Station Fdesign hackathons across Paris, and take our X presence from zero to 1.6M impressions.

You will also get to:
  • Embed yourself in the EF ecosystem. You work with the best founders, companies and investors, and you meet a ton of (future) founders across Europe. You spend your time around prospective founders rather than VCs, so you see what good looks like up close.
  • Surround yourself with the world's smartest and most ambitious individuals while helping develop an organization that can transform the lives of the most impactful people.
  • Learn how to execute. You'll see firsthand how to operate at both tier-1 company and startup level, working alongside a team that moves fast and holds a high bar.

What to expect: the pace is fast and the bar is high. We don't expect you to know everything on day one, but we do expect you to move, own your outcomes, and ask when you're stuck. We care about clarity and output, not face time or polish. Explain things simply, distill the signal, and don't ever bullshit.

Requirements

Who you are
The three things that matter most to us:
  • High agency, a jack of all trades. You see what needs doing and do it. Nobody has to tell you twice, and no task is beneath you.
  • Self-motivated. You run your own race. You take ownership, set your own pace, and don't wait around for direction.
  • Genuinely into the EF ecosystem. You'd rather spend your time around super early-stage and prospective founders than VCs, and you want to see what good looks like from the inside.

You should also:
  • Have a strong academic record and a deep interest for technology, startups and venture capital.
  • Ideally have already interned at a top tier company, VC or startup.
  • Be fluent in English (C1/C2 level); French a plus.
  • Have outstanding organizational skills and be very comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Excel with process and people: strategic, but happy to get your hands dirty in a fast paced role.
  • Be an expert problem solver who thinks on their feet, with high EQ and strong communication.
