The Software Factory in Product Creation and Industrialization delivers scalable software solutions to support technology platforms, programs, suppliers, and internal teams. The Work Management team enables frictionless planning, tracking, and delivery through highly integrated tools and workflows.
The Solutions Engineer is a hands-on platform engineer and solution architect who designs and delivers enterprise-grade solutions across the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, Assets, Goals/Projects) and adjacent lifecycle tooling for requirements, code and testing.
- Take charge of designing solutions that tackle critical challenges for Product Creation and Industrialization leveraging the Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence), while setting scalable standards and overseeing governance.
- Configure Jira/JSM/JPD/Assets elements—including workflows, schemes, automations, forms, and SLAs—to optimize delivery and service outcomes.
- Manage Atlassian Cloud administration and its operating model, covering permissions, project and space provisioning, guardrails, audits, and maintaining platform hygiene.
- Develop and maintain integrations and extensions such as Forge apps, REST/GraphQL APIs, and webhooks/events, ensuring robust error handling, monitoring, and supportability.
- Launch AI-powered workflows (such as Atlassian Intelligence/Rovo, GitHub Copilot) by implementing practical governance including approved use cases, knowledge sources, access controls, and guardrails in partnership with our Enterprise Technology partners.
You'll have...
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, AI or Machine Learning, or related technical field.
• 5+ years with Atlassian cloud tools (Jira, Confluence), including deep expertise in at least one of JSM, JPD, Assets/CMDB, or Goals/Projects; experience with governance, permissions, and automation at scale
• 5+ years integration engineering: REST APIs (GraphQL preferred), webhooks, events, sync patterns, error handling, monitoring and observability
• 3+ years scripting/automation: Python or JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js); ability to build utilities/services for operations and data movement
• 3+ years hands-on AI enablement: Atlassian Intelligence/Rovo or similar, GitHub Copilot; knowledge of governance, prompt patterns, access controls, guardrails
• Enterprise identity/security: SSO/SAML, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, least-privilege design
• Requirements/ALM exposure: experience with Jama, Polarion, or PTC Codebeamer; understanding of traceability

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
